a heavy blanket

GETTING USED TO IT

This blanket is going to feel different. Give yourself time. It may take up to two weeks to get used to the weight of the blanket. Use it consistently for the two week period before deciding whether to go lighter or heavier.

USING THE BLANKET

You use it like a blanket. Obviously. But unlike most weighted blankets, this one is not an added layer. It’s meant to replace your existing duvet. Pop it in a duvet cover and off to dreamland you go.

TWEAKING THE TEMPERATURE

Flip the blanket to tweak your body temperature. Smooth side down will provide more warmth. Bumpy side down will influence your nerve receptors, regulating your body temperature more effectively, helping you cool down.

CARE & WASHING

The blanket may be washed with the weight tubes attached. For the best results, however, we recommend removing the tubes and cleaning them separately. Weight tubes should be dried on a flat surface. Hanging the tubes on a line will stretch them out.
